Definitely a very interesting book. And probably the first one I've read that's entirely built around alien _language_.
And what a language it is! Not counting its specifics (which, let's face it, did require some suspension of disbelief, but all was well within norms), its specific form and nature made it _perfect_ for an audiobook; and Susan Duerden did a perfect job. It was quite chilling to hear at times.
The book did have some dull bits, though; most notably the one that followed when the first story arc closed, and the two - thus far separated - strands of the protagonist's story joined.
