Outstanding. This had everything I like about the series and then some. After a lot of setup this book starts knocking stuff out of the park. Plenty of face paced action and finally starts delving into the artifacts and creatures that killed the proto molecule civilization. It’s also a punch in the gut at times.

Couldn’t ask for more, in short.
