I love the idea of a near-endless library that defies space and time; it gives an interesting mix of fantasy and science fiction.
The 'moral' of the story is heavy-handed, which I don't always mind, but since the two main characters are kind of flat (separate and together), the only thing that kept me engaged was the mystery.
I am still interested in where the story will go, but I am keeping my expectations controlled.
