The Shadows by J.R. Ward

3.0

I hate to say I was a little disappointed in this one. I like the Shadow brothers (Trez and iAm) and was hoping for more for them.

Trez's story is full and fully heartbreaking but since the title is The Shadows, perhaps we could have gotten more Shadow story and less Layla and Xcor because really, who freakin' cares about those two. Oh right, not a damned body.

I'm far more interested in what the hell Throe is doing so since he's making an actual move, let's see some of it. Nah, bore us to tears with Layla's corny ass.

Also, iAm is front and just left of center in this tale and there could have been so much more for him and maichen. Sigh.
