Eh… it’s a hallmark movie romance plus Ted Lasso and make it gay. At times the tropes felt a bit artificial and forced, some of the soccer didn’t feel realistic. The gay scenes felt a bit like a str8 romance but just swapping in two men instead of truly gay perspective. But overall, I didn’t hate it. It was sweet and optimistic, and a quick read.
