Kissed a Sad Goodbye by Deborah Crombie

5.0

Crombie twists the past and the present, with a crime here and now with roots in the distant past. From the exploration of relationships past and present, and what it is to love and be loved - and why that leads to death twice in two generations. Nice progression of the relationships in the main characters of the series as well, nothing too easy, but hard earned growth.
