God do I love me a great hockey romance mixed in with real life mental health issues.
Book one is all about PTSD, anxiety, and depression. This book is all about grief, anxiety, imposter syndrome, narcissism, emotional abuse, slut shaming, and academic disabilities. These things are all expertly written, and my heart is full of empathy for Ro & Matt. To watch them grow into themselves and into each other was beautiful and inspiring. I love their found family, & will keep reading this series as long as she keeps writing 🤭
