Listen she was wild and she was a mess. And by she I mean this book.

The concept/the premise, the world in this book was super intriguing but the execution was.. not there. I loved that it was based off of Norse mythology talked/was centered around Loki, Odin, Thor and Ragnarok.

The book just felt super rushed at a lot of times. It was set in a futuristic Boston, but then the underworld was involved and some other realms which all honestly blurred together and got lost in translation. It felt like this should have been 3 separate books tbh.

I did enjoy Ali and Marroc as characters. Loved that there was fey/elves, sorcery, and zombies (?). Like I said the premise has wonderful potential and I did enjoy certain parts of the book, but the pacing and execution was lacking. And I forgot I was reading this m, came back to it a few days later and then found myself skimming the second half because I just wanted to be done with it.
