The Opposite of Everyone by Joshilyn Jackson

5.0

Halfway through the first CD, I audibly gasped and thought, 'Oh no! I've discovered the formula!'
Tough, keep-your-emotions-down woman who has contentious relationship with her mom eventually discovers her mom loved her/fought for her/protected her all along. And the woman is also avoiding a relationship with the guy who is best for her, but eventually realizes he's best for her and they get together.

Knowing the formula doesn't make the book any less good. I love this author. I love to listen to her narrate her stories on audiobook. She is a damn fine writer!

This is the first of her books where I didn't figure out what the title meant in correlation to the book (which is likely just user error).
