Before reading this memoir, I only knew Kelly Bishop as Emily Gilmore - and her life is so much more than Emily Gilmore!
I learned so much about Bishop's career and loved the tidbits into her personal life. I really appreciate that she shared as much as she wanted to share about her life. The writing never felt forced and it all felt honest. The inside look of the New York show business scene was particularly fascinating to me.
And I will say.... she had me in tears when discussing her husband Lee Leonard. The love they had for each other is truly inspirational.
Everything about Kelly Bishop's story is inspiring to me, and I think every Gilmore Girls and Broadway fan will appreciate her story.
