The Grumpy Billionaire by Annika Martin

4.0

I've only read a couple of stories from this author but can confirm that this is a standalone, full length novel with a HEA.
I ended up enjoying this more that I expected at the beginning. I was underwhelmed at the start of the story but I warmed to the quirkiness of Stella and the way that Hugo tried so hard to be 'normal'. There was great interaction between them and while my favourite scene involved being fully clothed in a shower the romance between them did feel a bit rushed - from nothing to everything very quickly.
I liked that it gave me that 'behind the looking glass' feeling when you suddenly have the character seeing things from the other perspective after a lifetime of thinking about things a certain way.
