I was crying after reading this book, the illustrations were beautiful , breathtaking and this book left me feeling wretched. It is a short story, yet compelling, narrative that captures the heart wrenching predicament of refugees and human desire for hope, safety amongst the turmoil of war and displacement. Through a father’s prayer for his son while they embark on a journey across the sea.

It evokes empathy and sheds light on the crisis of refugee . Thus making this book moving and a thought provoking read, underlining the urgency for compassion  and understanding in the face of global crisis.
