Classic. This graphic novel introduces Scott Pilgrim and his current life and sets the stage for the later volumes. In this volume, Scott is dating a high school girl named Knives, but is also starting a romance with the mysterious Ramona Flowers. Some band practices, thrift shopping, and battles ensue.
My favorite character will always be Scott's roommate, Wallace Wells. This book is full of classic Wallace moments.
Also, I don't know how O'Malley can make a funny panel with no words, but he does.
This is a quick and funny read...and you will want to continue.
