definitely a summer read, glad i read it during summer.
the dynamic between alex and poppy is so raw, so special, so unique, i feel like words arent enough.
one thing that really spoke to me (đ¤), is that feeling of loneliness poppy described when you realised that you could never know someone truly and completely. i was shocked when i read it, as it has been something i have been thinking about myself as well. my last few weeks itâs been consuming my thoughts, and to see someone else think the EXACT same thing has been surprising, and comforting, to say the least.
the moment they said âi love youâ to each other, i felt like the words âi love youâ werenât enough. like, after over a decade of loving each other, such simple words couldnât explain the complexity behind their emotions. i wish there was something stronger than âi love youâ, and if there was, it would be for them
