Did not finish book.

Dnf at 34% and it’s lucky I lasted that long. I didn’t like “‘em”s and “ain’t”s in Gabriel’s speech. It didn’t fit a multi millennium old being. Also Michael is closest to humanity but is naive about current language and idioms? He’s been working g toward this goal interacting with humans for 300 years. I didn’t feel any connection between them. They’re contradictory. And it was boring.
