Oh this book was exactly what I needed. I was just engrossed from the get-go with this book and the only reason I didn't binge read it in one sitting is that I was sick and needed to get some rest.

I only had a little trepidation about the BDSM elements, mostly because it's not my scene IRL and some books I've read before were WAY outside my comfort zone. YMMV, but I found this book pushed me just enough outside my comfort zone to be okay. It was clear the characters really enjoyed what they did, and were incredibly thoughtful about how the other experienced it. Keira was also proactive in learning more about the things Daniel had talked about, so all in all it was a beautifully portrayed example of how to get involved with a person who is into BDSM. And it was hot to boot!

The trouble that the couple ran into is one that just about any couple can run into (not telling someone about something you ought to have told them about earlier), and it was believable from both sides. I did find the time jumps a little jarring sometimes, but I think it avoided unnecessary detail, so in the end I was okay with them.

Will definitely read this again and I'm looking forward to reading more of this author's backlist. I could swear I've read something by her before, but it looks like I've got a lot of reading ahead!
