Did not finish book. Stopped at 17%.
Unfortunately for this book, I’m in my DNF era.
It had the makings of everything I love in a book: academia, obsession, violence, and twisted gay love. Hell, the inside cover recommends it to fans of The Secret History (it’s me, I’m fans).
But something about it was really not working for me and as much as I hate that, I couldn’t bring myself to power through.
