i struggled to get into this at first but omg what a great story!! just a lovely book with a beautifully executed feminist twist. amazing characters, however tarisai was a little annoying at the beginning, but she got a million times better as time went on. i loved the twist of her not falling for the prince but instead for the tough looking boy who is soft and squishy on the inside and doesnt want to hurt anyone. very good and will be reading the next one!!!
