I like the combination of spice and mystery in these books. It always keeps the reading interesting and I always like the big reveal for tension purposes. I loved Alyssa and after seeing hints of her in books one and two, I'm glad she got her own story. I liked the angst happening with her and Luc and their spicy moments were definitely hot, but he also irritated me immensely. He was a bit of a slut shamer (for nothing) and there were a lot of misunderstandings on his part if he would have just gotten his out of his sooner. I was rooting for them to be together, but there was so much avoidance of actually talking to each other that it became a little much for me. Add in the accidental pregnancy trope and I was definitely feeling annoyed. I do enjoy the series and I like the introductions of new characters as set-up for the next installments. Tyler was a great secondary character and I am thrilled to read his story for sure.
