The Devil Wears Tartan by Katia Rose

4.0

This is such a great lesbian romance book. But more importantly, it’s a romance book with really well written characters. Like, really well written. I actually looked forward to getting to know all the characters as the book went on, perhaps even more than finding out how the book was going to end. I appreciated the non-binary representation in this book too (the best friend’s significant other who used they/them pronouns). I liked that nearly all the women in this book were depicted as resilient, caring, and passionate about their families and their dance communities. Now that I think about it, I like the fact women are the primary storytellers and make up most of the side characters. It’s nice to read any book that’s not being dominated by a man or a bunch of men.
