I didn't know spirals could be so creepy. This has Junji Ito's usual incredible body horror and images that stick in your brain forever. I LOVED the first half of the book. A town is being plagued with spirals and each story is eerie, creepy as hell and connected in weird ways. I'm not sure how I feel about the second half. It became a bigger story rather than interconnected short stories and it was just very over the top and dramatic in the second half. Overall, I'm giving this a 4 ⭐. I really enjoyed it despite the things that I didn't love about the second half and can easily recommend it to horror fans and readers.
