Pretty ok... there was a lot of fluff for the super quick ending. I was squealing for Quinn to say
the reason I can't date you is this one time when I was 14 I kissed a girl with straight blond hair and I've been trying to find her ever since, hence my dating every girl with straight blond hair. And then Minnie could say OMG! That was me! and we'd have the cutest resolution. I mean, we sort of had that at the end with the lemmings, but it just wasn't the same.

I was glad that Minnie went on a journey of self-discovery. I think that's so important to do at that age and before committing to anything some guy wants you to do or be. Her mom was the real villain for the first half. She was SO negative. I loved how they were always just missing each other, but I wish there had been more "oh I was there too!" or "oh I worked there!" I just wanted THEM to know a little more than they did.

I think their relationship was really glazed over. Lots on Minnie's relationship with other people, but with Quinn, it was always just a "yeah we talked all day" and that was the end of it. I don't know how he arrived at the conclusion of love when (from my perspective) they barely spent any time together at all besides swim day. No texts in between? Complete radio silence for weeks then months on end. If you really liked this person and couldn't wait to see them once a week, you'd probably be texting back and forth at least a little during that time. But no! I think I've fallen for that girl/guy I haven't seen or talked to or heard from. This really bothered me and why it's not a 5 star for me.
