The Queen of Nothing by Holly Black

5.0

I know they say all good things must come to an end, but for legends such as "The Folk of the Air" series these legends live on forever!!!!!

Jude and Carden's relationship has rocketed straight past complicated to straight-up crazy town and I enjoyed every single word of it. As individual characters, I quite enjoyed reading their journeys and especially how much they've grown into the roles that were once forced but now seem so natural. This is my favorite line describing both of them" “We have lived in our armor for so long, you and I. And now I am not sure if either of us knows how to remove it.”

Jude bids farewell to the life she once knew and I love that while she may be moving on, she still stays true to her roots. On the other hand, Carden has broken the mold and instead forged a new path, away from his family and prophecies to build a new path.

The plot for Queen of Nothing was intense and had me gripping the edge of my kindle more than once. The sheer brilliance of this series and the intricacy of the story left no stone unturned as it came to an epic end. The Queen of Nothing teaches us that with perseverance, love, and sheer willpower anything can be accomplished.
