molly_dettmann 's review for:
A Forgery of Roses
by Jessica S. Olson
The premise for this was interesting but explaining it took a big chunk of book that I felt left little character development and dragged in the middle. The ending seems open for a sequel but I think this is going to be it for the story. I love art so I thought the magic would be right up my alley, but I thought the whole “Great Artist” stand in tor God was kind of weird for what read like a steampunky fantasy.
