The Calling
by Rachelle Dekker
Normally, the second book in a series is not my favorite. It’s a bridge between the first and the final books, and almost always leaves me dissatisfied. “The Calling” is an exception to that rule.
I could not put this book down until I was finished with it. It gripped me, convicted me, wrapped things up nicely while still ushering in Book 3—I loved everything about it. So. Good.
I am running to my library to get Book 3. The bar is set high with this one; hoping and trusting the next will be just as good.
