Whew what to say about this book. It’s a real mixed bag. Incredibly misogynistic, heteronormative, and racist. At the same time, those things are typical of the genre. It definitely took away enjoyment from an otherwise pretty interesting story. I resented that I was kinda into it by the end, but the fact remains that I was.
