friends to lovers to exes to strangers to friends to LOVERS π₯°β€οΈππ₯°πβ€οΈπ₯°ππ₯°β€οΈ
Mrs. Smith cancelling Mr. Elliot put such a big smile on my face because I was scared Anne was starting to like him instead βΊοΈ
I also really liked the conversation on gender roles at the end which seemed very progressive for 1817
Also bucks the trend of me falling in love with the eldest sister, while I feel for both Anne's sisters they are incredibly written to be completely insufferable (especially Mary)
Also this book describes the silliness of having a crush on someone so well, had me giggling and swinging my feet
