King Richard III by William Shakespeare

5.0

“And therefore, since I cannot prove a lover
To entertain these fair well-spoken days,
I am determined to prove a villain,
And hate the idle pleasures of these days.”

Shakespeare’s plays aren’t my go-to but this play is enigmatic, entertaining and disturbing enough to make me watch the several cinematographic adaptations and go to the theatre. Cynical witty villains y’all.
