First book in the Rook Trilogy from the Edge Chronicles, like all the listens so far, it’s an abridged version which really detracts from some of the best aspects of the series but still ultimately an enjoyable listen with a solid adventure plot and excellent worldbuilding, in those hints that have survived the abridging. Through that process it is more obvious how similar the plots are between the trilogies but it was still a good listen.
