first half of the book was one of the hardest things to get through, i felt like throwing up the entire time. it calms down slightly in the second half but i would definitely check cw/tws for this book before deciding to read.
as for the story, it’s very compelling and i find myself curious to how it all will play out, i specifically can’t wait to find out more about gu mang and his decision to defect to the enemy nation.
