I’m not disappointed by the outcome of this book but I was confused for 80% of the book. The surprises were there!! The twists!? Well damn.

A thrilling, mysterious YA fiction about family, grief, and is told from only one of the siblings point of view. Sunny, who took her name seriously, lived up to the sunshine of her name for the family sake, is TIRED! She and her siblings attend Behre Academy, a school for underprivileged students who have the opportunity for better education. Sonny knows she’s the one who is suppose to lead their family after the passing for her but instead never received those institutions in the will, it went to the eldest daughter, Karter. All Sunny knows is that he needs to take care of Dom.

Dom is the youngest of the Behre family, the outcast and is being accused of murdering his girlfriend. Sunny knows she needs to take of Dom but doesn’t have the slight clue how or why their mother left her with this task needs to be able to mend their relationship. For most of Dom’s life, he has been left behind, forgotten about, and emotionally mistreated.

How can Sunny take care of a brother she doesn’t like? And can Dom trust any of his siblings with his best interest in mind?
