Nora Spangler does it all: literally. From taking care of her daughter, her home, and her husband, to being a successful attorney, she's at her breaking point. With the impending birth of their second child, Nora and her husband go house hunting in the elite neighborhood of Dynasty Ranch. The women here are successful, in the understatement of the century. Nora quickly makes friends and before she knows it, agrees to represent one of the women in a wrongful death case. But something is amiss here, and Nora intends to find out just what it is.
If you're like me, I think you'll figure out what's going on relatively quickly, but it was the why it was happening that kept me turning pages. I really enjoyed how fast-paced the story was, but the ending in my opinion was just not it. Spoilers aside, I was just super disappointed.
Also, if you are a working woman on the fence about having kids, this just might solidify your decision for you.
