I loved this book. 4.5 ⭐️.
The characters are all so layered and unlikeable but also loveable characters. Jessa’s writing is beautiful, with some really lovely quotes. The story was addictive after a bit of a slow start, and had elements of lots of genres; fiction, mystery, and romance notably. If you like dysfunction this book is definitely for you.
The only reason it isn’t 5 stars is because I felt like the start was a bit slow and it didn’t get into the meat of it until we were pretty deep in. I also felt the religious aspects of this book were a little inconsistent, a big focus at the start but it really dropped off by the end.
I also guessed the plot twist but I was proud of that 😂
