Despite a questionable start, I really liked Boreas (THE north wind) as a character. It also took me some time to get used to Wren’s personality but I grew to like her character too (except in some scenes for example when she tried to kill him for the idk 3rd time? If not more? Or when she was still questioning his love for her despite him making it abundantly clear multiple times ).
I’m neutral-positive about this book. At the end of it, I’m still a bit confused about the magical system (the Shadow, Boreas powers, the smoky creatures…).
But not a bad read!
