The Sandman Vol. 4: Season of Mists by Neil Gaiman

5.0

This one went dark compared to previous volumes. Although, I guess I should've somewhat expected it. I knew about the whole going to hell bit. Before reading I didn't think I would love this as much as I did. The synopsis was a bit vague. But then those stories that you think are just small snippets from before link in here. Everything all comes together, that may not of made sense before. I absolutely love it when a story does that. It shows how well planned out things are. I loved meeting all these deities, and I love that they seemed to be pretty much true to the original. I loved Lucifer and his proper introduction, so now I really want to read his continuation. The writing is fantastic of course, and his character is clearly shown their own personality. It definitely feels like things will move forward more from here as things pick up.
