Where Butterflies Wander by Suzanne Redfearn
4.0

I didn't read anything about this when I added it to my Audible queue. I saw the cover and that it was included with KU and knew I wanted to give it a go.

After a devastating accident claims the life of one of her kids, Maris is eager to reset and give her family a chance to heal in a new place. She takes them all to her family's home in New Hampshire, a place she inherited from her grandfather. They'll have to get it ready to sell in order to finance a new home in a new city, where they can all have a fresh start. But with this change comes the "river witch" Davina and her claim to the rundown cabin on the property. The Summer may not be as restorative for Marie's family as she thought, but it will certainly transform their lives forever.

I really enjoyed this. I don't know if you'd call it lit fic or contemporary fiction, but the story was well told through each member of Marie's family and Davina's perspectives. I love how this story demonstrates that even in times of turmoil, people can open their hearts.
