Why did it feel like we didn’t get to the actual point of the book until like 70% through?? This is like her shortest book and I was sad about that bc I love Claire and Gibs but it still somehow managed to be pointless and repetitive until nearly the end. And then Claire and Gibs didn’t even get to have a private conversation before everything came out so they didn’t even have a real, honest conversation about it all. He just stayed with Johnny and then by the time they saw each other again they just didn’t talk at all? I mean I still love the books and the couple but it felt like such a let down tbh. Would love for them to have a second book to actually grow as a couple.
