This review has taken me a long time to write because I don’t think any words I can find will do it justice. I’ll keep it brief.
This book is gut wrenching… but not the whole way through. There is levity in witnessing a beautiful friendship (tested tho it may be throughout the story) and that is what I clung to in the darker parts.
But thinking about the rest of what these two teens have to endure in their young lives is just heartbreaking. A very powerful read, but proceed with caution.
