Young Goodman Brown by Nathaniel Hawthorne
5.0
Pop Sugar Reading Challenge: Read a book by an author with flora or fauna in their name
Here's the Nathaniel Hawthorne that I love. It was no struggle to picture myself in the woods with Goodman Brown, to feel his desperation and horror and, later, his despair when he believes that his entire community, including his wife, has cavorted with the devil. It's a snap to read and packs a huge punch. So, so good!
