I picked up this book knowing it probably wouldn't be my thing simply to support the author who has recently lost her husband. The relationship between Dominic and Stassia was a little too taboo for me for one reason. Seven years raising Stassia with her mother was a little too much of a father figure for me. Maybe if it had only been a year or two it would have worked better for me. Just a personal preference. Otherwise, it was it was a fun, steamy read.
