The Shadow Tracer by Meg Gardiner

3.0

This was a fast-paced read, and I was drawn in to the story. At the beginning, I really thought I would end up giving it 4 stars. I'd give it 3.5 if I could. There were just some plot points that bothered me.

I thought it was way too easy for the Worthes to trace Sarah through the credit cards. I felt like she made a big point about how the prepaid cards weren't traceable, but then the Worthes just waltzed in to the mailbox store, stole her statement and figured out where she was. I didn't think the prepaid cards would have statements and that realistically Sarah would have had less obvious passwords on her account (seriously, she's hiding from the people who killed her sister and she uses her sister's actual name as her code word?).

It seemed like the end left it open to a sequel, so we'll see if there is more.
