3.75⭐️ What a wild emotional ride. A whirlwind of emotions for sure.
This follows Cecilia and Gabriel who have a pretty crazy meeting. Gabriel saves her life and then has a savior complex over her for the rest of the book. I found bits and pieces to be weird & not make complete sense (bells ringing for college classes, no repercussions, & just the craziness of it all) but none of this took away from my enjoyment of the story. We get so many emotions from both characters. They care both extremely flawed but are able to open up with each other eventually. I loved the way Gabriel gave her space when she needed it after her attack & didn’t push in certain circumstances but did push in others. The spice scenes were decent, but again something maybe I didn’t find completely believable given what’s happened
