I am actually annoyed at the synopsis. It sounded like an interesting book in the thriller genre. But don’t be fooled, it’s just a bunch of horny neighbors behaving badly. Not a book I would have chosen if the description was more accurate.
I did not find the writing to be engaging, which shows in the speed I read this one. The characters were insipid, there was not a single character that I liked. Absolutely not my type of people. Too much Lululemon and pineapples for my taste.
I kept reading for the sole reason that I figured it HAD to get better. It did not. The story bounced around from house to house repeating the same scenarios. If you ask me, the book was 300 pages too long.
