Not a bad book. The writing felt very repetitive, but at some point I got used to it. As for the characters, while I found Aristotle too emo at first, he grew on me and I think the author did a good job with him. I don't have much of an opinion on Dante, but I liked that he was sunshine to Aristotle's grumpy.
One thing that I certainly didn't like was the way the author chose to let us know about Bernardo's crime. I won't go into details but it could have been handled with more respect and less jokes before and after the reveal.

Minor: Death and Sexism
