The story starts at the beginning of their friendship and their book club in the 1960s and follows them through the decades.
All the women are so different from each other and I love that their lives are interwoven through joy, heartbreak, good times and bad, and books.
Sometimes the skip forward in time is disorienting. Big things seem like a blip, and smaller events are longer.
But that’s kind of how life feels.
This had a good ending, because it’s not an ending. I can see AHEB continuing into the future.
