A very moving and truthful story.
I cannot even begin to fathom how Puk felt when her husband suddenly died and she was left to raise their two children.
No one can relate to such an ordeal, only those who have lived an identical life to Puk of losing your husband, at such a young age and having to raise a newly born baby and toddler.

I’ve never read a book like this before. The only similar stories to this are ones about heartbreak, or losing a family member/friend.
I particularly liked how she wrote about the problems or mishaps of daily life. It was really well done and it felt relatable, or as if you were standing beside her the whole time.
A well-written book, and my second book this year written by a journalist.
