This book was just alright. I was most captivated by Violet's story and kept picking it up to see what happened to her. Kate's story felt unoriginal and Altha's was slow and kind of boring. I didn't love that domestic violence was used as such an explicit and necessary plot device-- a lot of the book felt like trauma porn. Overall, I kept waiting for the book to pick up, and then it ended.
