Okay, so I wasn't expecting to like this as much as I did. I got hooked around three pages in. The characters are complex, and the dialogue can be hilarious at times. I find the topic of this series interesting--if given a book like the Death Note, who would you kill first? Who would deserve it? Overall, the story in engrossing and immediately pulled me in. The panels are what I would expect of a movie storyboard and gives the format that kind of a feel and read. It makes it easy for the "movie in my head" to move forward, and gives the story more action. I can't wait to pick up the next volume when I get home.
