Seven Days in June by Tia Williams

This book was different than I was expecting, though I can’t really say what I DID expect. However, I really enjoyed it, I listened to the audiobook version and thought the narration was also well done. I really liked the main character and when, unlike in typical “romance novels,” the relationship hit the rocks, she found her own strength in it instead of totally falling apart. She kind of came into herself by finding love in another, no matter the ending of that story, and I found that refreshing. It wasn’t the “everything is perfect in love” approach, I found it more realistic and believable of an adult relationship.
