I really liked the first book of the series, this one takes it up a notch. I wasn't sure how a series of fairy tale retellings were going to intermingle but the author seamlessly blends the stories together, I can really see the building of future stories.

This particular one was loosely based on Hansel & Gretel with redemption, finding oneself, and magic!

I'm really excited about Scars & Seams to come!
